The goal after construction of Pioneer School is to provide scholarships to the local children that have had no access to education.
The starting income for an employee of Lakeside Fish Farm is $3.00/day. While we employ a small percentage of the local population, most of the people in the village do not have access to a job and thus cannot afford to send their children to school.
The children attending the local public school have to provide everything, but the building, the teachers and the curriculum. This means that the students and their families must supply not only personal school supplies but facility supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels. They also must purchase and wear the specific school uniform.
This cost puts education out of the reach of poor local children and their families.
For $20.00/month ($240.00/year), you can provide an education for a local child.
